Case Studies

The work, before and after.

We build custom tools that accelerate the engineering work itself. Here is what that looks like on real projects: the manual workflow, the same work run through Eagle, and the hours it gives back to engineers.

Transportation · Traffic Study

207 → 31 hrs

A traffic study, from 207 hours to 31.

Turning-movement counts used to mean weeks of manual work. Engineers keyed in raw count data, worked out peak hours, ran the level-of-service calculations, and assembled the appendix by hand.

Eagle takes the raw counts and produces peak-hour determination, level of service, and a stamped Appendix report. The same study that took 207 hours now takes 31.

MEP · Thermal Load Calculation

300 → 59 hrs

Thermal load calcs, from 300 hours to 59.

Sizing a building’s heating and cooling loads is one of the most painstaking, high-volume workflows in MEP. For every room, an engineer measures each exterior wall by hand, segments it by orientation, subtracts every window, and estimates the heat gained through the envelope, lighting, equipment, and people. Then it all gets typed into spreadsheets that have to be re-run every time the design changes.

Eagle reads the architect’s model directly, pulls the wall and window geometry room by room, runs the load calc against the firm’s design parameters, and exports a live, fully editable Excel workbook in the firm’s own template. Across three real projects it brought the work from 300 hours to 59, and it caught miscounted walls and windows the original takeoff had missed.

MEP · Revit Automation

Drawing annotations, drafted automatically.

Annotating a Revit model means tagging every light fixture, device, and room by hand. It’s rote drafting that eats hours on every sheet, and none of it is the kind of work that actually needs an engineer.

Eagle places the annotations directly inside Revit, the tool the team already uses. The engineer reviews and adjusts instead of clicking through the same labels one at a time.
