Re-energizing engineering

No one is thinking about the next century of roads, bridges, and housing anymore. The engineers who could are buried in paperwork and stuck with software older than they are.

Eagle builds tools to dig them out, so they can get back to designing the future.

Led and built by engineers and operators from: Arup, Palantir, Pivotal, Replica, Bloomberg, Ethic, Long Ridge, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, Harvard University, Stanford, Columbia University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, ACEC, ASCE, SAME

We build around your engineers

We believe the world needs more engineers, not less. So we sit next to your team, learn how they work, and build tools that fit your firm.

Case studies

Automating the work that takes an engineer’s time, not an engineer’s mind.

  1. E-101

    E-101 Traffic Study

Ingests raw data and returns the peak-hour determination, the level of service, and the stamped appendix report.

FIG. E-101 — PEAK-HOUR FIGURES ON THE STUDY CORRIDOR
The study corridor being countedA hand-drafted diagram of the study corridor. A probe travels the main road west to east, and each junction's figures appear as it arrives — two full turning-movement figures in the product's own notation, three count stations carrying the study's hourly demands — then the completed count holds and the pass begins again.17 (39)443 (458)61 (81)46 (81)187 (96)60 (92)30 (71)312 (508)137 (159)41 (55)287 (331)15 (43)410 (505)88 (120)365 (402)73 (95)54 (77)96 (142)501 VEH/HR424 VEH/HR437 VEH/HR

  2. E-102

    E-102 Thermal Load Calcs

Reads the wall and window geometry from the architect’s model, runs the load calc against the firm’s design parameters, and exports a live workbook in the firm’s own Excel template.

    Across 3 projects

The model scanned and stitchedThe traced footprint of the building the run scopes. One room at a time is taken up: its boundary lights, lines spread from it to every other room in the section it is tested against, and the calculation's reading for that room is written beside it — coil tons, room airflow and the hour its load peaks. Five rooms in turn, then the pass begins again.1.86 TONS · 800 CFMRM 2-104 WARD · PEAK 3PM1.24 TONS · 540 CFMRM 2-118 ISOLATION · PEAK 12PM3.05 TONS · 1,220 CFMRM 2-131 IMAGING · PEAK 5PM0.74 TONS · 330 CFMRM 2-142 CLEAN UTIL · PEAK 9AM1.02 TONS · 460 CFMRM 2-156 STAFF · PEAK 6AM

    E-103 Revit Annotations

Places the fixture, device, and room tags inside Revit itself. The engineer reviews and adjusts them in the model.
